The Assessor’s Office is responsible for the valuation of all real property and personal property within the Town of Danvers. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue requires all property to be valued at full and fair cash value which ensures property owners pay their fair and equitable share of the yearly tax burden. In addition, our office calculates yearly tax bills; administers tax relief programs; processes abatement applications for real estate, personal property, motor vehicle and boat excise bills; and maintains a property record database. The Board of Assessors is responsible for determining the fair and equitable valuation of all real and personal property within the Town.
