Bulky Item Pickup

Bulky Item Pickup is for residents with curbside trash and recycling pickup

Stickers for Bulky item pickup must first be purchased at the Clerk's Office in Town Hall, the Business Division at 2 Burroughs Street (cash, check or credit card) or online (check or credit card).
- Please call the phone number on your sticker the day before your trash day to schedule pickup.
- Stickers must be placed on the item and at the curb by 7:00 am on your collection day.

Bulky Item Sticker Fees
$10.00 - One Sticker Furniture (upholstered: couch, armchair, etc.) Furniture (all wood: dining set, bureau, hutch, etc.) Carpet (up to 10 rolls up to 4 ft long) White Goods (washer, dryer, water heater, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor) Water Heater Gas Grill (no propane tank attached) Push Lawn Mower (oil and gas removed) Snow Blower (oil and gas removed)	$20.00 - Two Sticker Freon Appliances (refrigerators, dehumidifiers, air conditioner) Television Computer Monitor

Mattresses and box springs are no longer part of the bulky item program, please visit the Mattress Recycling page for more information on how to recycle mattresses and box springs.
Toilets and tires with rims removed are picked up curbside for free. These count as one trash item each.
Styrofoam is considered trash and can be bagged. Large pieces count as one item.
No metal items or rigid plastics will be picked up curbside. They may be brought to the Transfer Station for recycling.
